Bic Sport took particular care in the design of its kayaks to give them slender and innovative lines. Their Bic Sport kayaks have, as a result, won four consecutive awards at the annual French Design competition "Observeur du Design", celebrating industrial design and the most innovative creations.

The unique THD - or Tri Hull Design - provides the optimum balance in speed, comfort and stability unique to the BIC Sport Kayak range. The result of over 20 years of BIC Sport watercraft design and innovation, the THD shape has been developed to provide improved gliding and stability while maintaining maneuverability. Inspired from current tri-maran designs, the THD shape features a central section for increased gliding, two outside hull sections to stabilize the kayak and two intermediate concaves to create lift and an optimal mix of water and air for heightened performance. This provides the best all-rounders for the kayak world to date, easy for complete novices to use but capable enough for more advanced kayakers to appreciate.
